The Baker County Education Foundation would like to announce the honorees for the annual "Leaving a Legacy Scholarship Dinner." We will be recognizing Mrs. Fay Sinclair and her parents, Harold and Fay Milton, as well as Mr. Jack Williams.  Mrs. Sinclair retired from our school district where she served as a teacher, vice-principal, and principal.  Mr. Harold Milton was a former superintendent of schools and his sweet wife, Fay, was a music teacher. Mr. Jack Williams was an agriculture teacher at Baker County High School.  These educators have given many years of service to the Baker County School District.

The Leaving a Legacy Scholarship Steak Dinner will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 6:30 pm in the Family Life Center at the First Baptist Church of Macclenny.  Tickets will be on sale for $25 per person beginning Monday, January 26th.  For further information or to purchase tickets, please contact the School Superintendent's Office at 259-0427 or 259-0428.  Proceeds from this event will be used for student scholarships. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event.

The Baker County Education Foundation is proud to announce the achievement of its 26th anniversary. The Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization established in 1989 to support public education in Baker County.

It has awarded monies to our students, teachers, schools, and community through various scholarships. This money has been contributed through payroll deductions by school employees, business partners, local families who have given memorial or “in honor of” contributions, and private individuals.

If you are a contributor, we hope you will continue your support to the Foundation.
If you are not involved and would like to join the efforts of supporting our community, please contact the Baker County Superintendent’s Office at 904-259-0428.
